PARTA emerged in Vienna from an encounter that, both stylistically and biographicaly, seemed unlikely from the outset. Alex Grimm, Wenzel Kolar, and Gustavo Mendez-Liska share a city, but not an origin, a method, or a visual language. Rather than pursuing a forced synthesis, PARTA is founded precisely on this friction: three autonomous artistic positions that choose to coexist, enter into dialogue, and influence one another without relinquishing their individual identities.

PARTA does not aim to homogenize these positions. Instead, they are placed in relation to one another without hierarchy. What unites them is not a shared style, but a shared way of being in art: reflective, critical, and at the same time open to play and dialogue.

In this sense, PARTA does not attempt to explain what art is.
It activates it. It lives it. It shares it.
